Printing with Yiqiu3D Filaments on Bambu Lab X1C

Recommended print settings for PLA, PETG and silk filaments on the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, including AMS tips.

5 min read

The Bambu Lab X1 Carbon handles PLA and PETG excellently with its direct-drive extruder and active vibration compensation. Use these settings as starting points and fine-tune for your specific application.

PLA / PLA+ / Silk PLA

ParameterValue
Nozzle temperature200-220°C
Bed temperature55-65°C
Print speed200-300mm/s
Max volumetric speed15mm³/s
Cooling fan100% (layer 2+)
Retraction0.8mm @ 35mm/s

PETG

| Parameter | Value | |---| | Nozzle temperature | 230-250°C | | Bed temperature | 70-80°C | | Print speed | 150-250mm/s | | Max volumetric speed | 12mm³/s | | Cooling fan | 40-60% | | Retraction | 1.0mm @ 35mm/s |

AMS Tips

  • Dry filament before loading (PETG especially)
  • Label each AMS slot with material type and color
  • For multi-color prints, use PLA for all slots to avoid temperature conflicts
  • Desiccant in the AMS container extends filament life

Bed Adhesion

The X1C textured PEI plate works well with PLA and PETG without additional adhesives. Clean with isopropyl alcohol between prints. For PETG, a thin layer of glue stick prevents over-adhesion.

Individual results depend on your printer, environment and application.
